Vacheron & Constantin Tank "Brick" Rose Gold - 22.000€

Affectionately known among collectors as the “Brick”, this vintage Tank from the 1950s is distinguished by its strong architectural proportions and particularly attractive execution in rose gold.

The substantial rectangular case is softened by the warm hue of the rose gold and by the pronounced curvature of its domed plexiglass crystal, a detail that lends the watch considerable depth and a distinctly period character. The overall design is both robust and elegant, giving the model a presence quite unlike that of more conventional Tank references.
The satin-finished silvered dial is beautifully balanced, featuring applied rose-gold hour markers and matching rose-gold hands. A finely proportioned subsidiary seconds register at 6 o’clock adds further visual interest while preserving the restrained symmetry of the design.

Fitted to a leather strap and powered by a manually wound mechanical movement, the watch retains all the charm associated with mid-century dress watches.
