Patek Philippe Nautilus - SOLD

  • The Nautilus by Patek Philippe is one of the most iconic luxury sports watches in the world. Introduced in 1976, it was designed by Gérald Genta, who also created other famous watches like the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak. The Nautilus stands out for its distinctive design, featuring a rounded octagonal bezel, horizontal embossing on the dial, and an integrated bracelet.

Originally made from stainless steel, it was one of the first high-end sports watches to combine a steel case with luxury craftsmanship. Over the years, the Nautilus has been produced in various materials, including gold and platinum, and with additional complications like chronographs and moonphase indicators.

The model has become highly sought after, often with long waiting lists for new pieces and significant demand in the secondary market. Collectors value it for its blend of elegance, sporty character, and Patek Philippe's heritage of fine watchmaking.

The reference 4700 is a smaller, more discreet version of the Nautilus, and the model we have has an incredibly beautiful patinated dial that we can easily call "tropical" due to its brownish color.

It is delivered with its original papers from 1981, service papers from Patek Philippe in 2024 and the watch is, of course, sold with a three-year warranty.
