LeCoultre Deep Sea Alarm - 38.000€
Dive watches were born during the 1950s. Rolex and Blancpain were the first to release their models around 1953, the Submariner and the Fifty Fathoms respectively. Jaeger-LeCoultre followed in 1959 with the Deep Sea Alarm, which made waves by being the first automatic wristwatch with an alarm designed to be worn underwater.
Two versions of the Deep Sea Alarm were released: the European market version was branded as "Jaeger-LeCoultre" and did not include "Deep Sea Alarm" on the dial, while the U.S. version was marketed under "LeCoultre" and prominently featured the model name "Deep Sea Alarm Automatic." With fewer than 950 pieces produced over its two-year run, the Deep Sea Alarm remains a rare and highly coveted watch in the world of vintage horology.Rated to a depth of 200 meters, the Deep Sea Alarm featured a mechanical alarm that provided a sound signal to alert divers about elapsed time, enhancing their safety.
This watch comes with its original box, papers and booklets, which makes it even more rare and collectible for enthusiasts.
